Apparently the body is 49 years old today.
One of the last fears was that realizing no-self would lead to neglecting the body.
You know how those awake ones no longer care about their health or the state of their bodies, right?
We've all heard the (horror) stories.
So it's very funny to see how caring for the body seems to have increased. If anything, there is more clarity about what caring for the body means and how to go about it, without overthinking it.
The body exercises seriously and chooses the healthiest foods it knows about. It prioritizes sleep and rest. It listens to itself!
The body does what it does as it is conditioned to do.
There could have just as well been conditioning for this body to neglect itself.
But this bag of meat and bones seems to do well no longer believing in an owner.
Even the aging itself, though not exactly pleasurable, is part of the JOY of experience.
Such a post can be written only by a द्विज "dwij" i.e. born twice. Firstly through mother's body, secondly through "recognition of itself" which doesn't need anybody.
May you keep writing talking and inspiring others to become "dwij" before they lose their body.

To imagine the number of times every single cell in your body has been replaced in that timeframe.
