We can discuss nonduality for ever and ever.
We can examine, compare, and try to understand concepts used by various individuals trying to explain this.
We can talk and write and discuss endlessly.
Alternatively, we can sit alone, and be still.
We can try to go within, clear the mind, fall into deep silence, and discover truth.
Or, we can finally realize that none of these options has anything to do with a direct realization of our true nature.
Neither thinking nor not thinking will get you any closer to this. (And there is nothing wrong with either, if they happen they are just what the organism does, spontaneously).
Look in direct experience, NOW.
Notice what is aware of the body trying to understand nondual concepts.
Notice what is aware of the body trying to find silence.
The answer is ONLY in this direct awareness, in the tasting of what we already are — in what is already present before, during, and after any attempts at “realizing” this.
The answer is nowhere but here and now, in what is already present — with or without intellectual understanding, with or without silence.
So, for the love of god, LOOK!
The answer is simple, it's the background. The Is-ness. But then the logical mind always craves after the stories of continuity it keeps weaving. And so it comes back or better said never leaves the stage, running the show of neverending storytelling.
Wonder which of these three I’ve done the most over the past 27 years?
