It’s not necessary to practice the presence of God. That suggests God isn’t present unless practiced by a self!
The self believes it gets to God through effort.
It believes self and God are nouns.
The self is a lowly, defective noun.
God is an unnamable, great noun — perhaps Absolute Love — but always separate from the lowly self.
But both self and God are verbs.
The self is a selfing.
Selfing is the endless thought loop around a core thought, the I-thought.
God is a Godding.
Godding is a timeless, infinite, uncaused unfolding of Being.
Cease to believe the selfing and there is only Godding.
The presence of God IS the absence of (belief in) a separate self.
Godding is what YOU are.
Yes. Godding Selfing are much better expressions than God and Self. Nothing in this universe is Noun. Everything including static looking Sun mountains trees homes...... even our Body-minds... all are always on-the-move in verb-mode.
I love languaging - so you had me at 'verbs not nouns'. Or maybe we should say "verbing" instead of verb - since "verb" seems to turn verbing into a noun. One continuous flowing rivering of living - and languaging as distinguishing that creates apparent differences/differencing but never separation/separating.
