You can't lose what it means to be you because it's not yours.
Being you is happening all by itself without a separate self in control.
This frees you from needing to run your life and removes all the stress related to that.
From the day we're born, we're told that life is our job. We've got to control it, set and achieve goals, grow ourselves, and get it right, whatever that means.
This is a set-up for disaster because we're asking an illusion without agency to run things.
It's like asking a cloud to control the weather.
You (the character) are an expression, a local refraction, of Consciousness.
There is no "little, separate you" in the body-mind that can control it or needs to run it.
Youโre being lived.
That's the freedom.
As soon as you experience that there is no 'created' self you will recognize that every human being sees 'reality' from a unique point of view. But a point of view from one connected reality. The created self can experience saparation as well as oneness. It's up to 'you' to consider what is true. Life unfolds without 'you' being in control. The freedom to see the beauty and diversity of all living beings living in one big organism without boundaries is truly amazing and wonderful. Enjoy it while you can, you don't have to force anything.
