Unconditional
Knowing our true nature is unconditional.
Freedom and peace are unconditional.
Seeing no-self is unconditional.
Unconditional means without conditions to meet first.
But we’re pumped full of beliefs that set conditions:
I must understand it first
I have to see through thoughts or beliefs first
I must achieve a state of pure awareness first
I must undo myself of conditioning first
I must clear the doubts first
I must see something I’m currently not seeing first
I have to expand my consciousness first
I need the conditions around me to change first
On and on it goes, in an endless parade of cultural programming, making this into a “someday, somehow” thing.
But really, it isn’t about someday.
It’s about THIS, NOW.
Right now, there’s already a “space” of freedom from constricting, limiting thought — while those thoughts continue to come and go. We’re just unaware of it because of the constant attention going to thought.
This freedom from thought is experienced as peace without conditions: nothing needs to change, be added, or even removed first.
This unconditional peace is also experienced as joy.
The joy of being alive, of experiencing itself.
It’s already unconditionally available, no matter what is going on, if we’d just notice (see).
Thoughts tell us this is naive nonsense.
But what knows those thoughts?

My yoga teacher told me that first one must purify my chakra.... now the talk is all about the need to release trauma .....or working through shadow stuff...to which my reaction is in Yiddish Oy Vey....in other words I'm screwed....
No-thing to it!
