The spiritual ego’s attachment to self is an obstacle indeed! Perhaps a lack of attachment to any outcome, while acting only in this moment with focused presence, creates a possibility of relinquishing any self-connection.

As I edit and rewrite this, entirely un-attached to how it might be received and perceived! :)

'I' might be wrong, but so far to me, there does seem to be a difference between both the illusions of ego and the separate self as function(ing) and as identities.

Yes - no stopping the selfing…it is doing exactly what it is supposed to do. Holding the paradox is tricky: separate selfing that is within the one…a multitude of choices with no chooser!
